About

Kay is the Founder of Interior Design & Staging company KFB Interiors. With a rich background in Design and History of Architecture Kay spent her early career working across various design platforms including fashion, magazine, staging, interiors, and graphic design disciplines. Her heart pulled firmly towards Interior Design but her cross-platform experience brings a wealth of variety and skills to her design ability.

KFB Interiors operate across Scotland and beyond. Kay and her team are used to working with overseas clients who have bought an investment property in the UK or Europe as well as across all aspects of commercial interior design. Remote working is not a new practice! Recent and current projects include the restoration of a Scottish Baronial mansion house in Dumfries & Galloway, a full redecoration of a five-bedroom house in the South of France, the reception area of the famous Westferry Circus building at Canary Wharf, London and this West Coast Georgian mansion house, which is ongoing but her client has just reviewed:

“We’ve been working with Kay on the renovation of our property on the west coast of Scotland. The house was a dream project for us to embark on, and we met Kay at just the right time. Kay took on board our ideas, educated us about the history of the house, resulting in renovations that are in keeping with the period of the property, and aligned with our vision. One additional challenge for the project was the location: we are based in Singapore and the property and Kay are in Scotland! Whilst this could have been a challenge it really wasn’t; Kay was so flexible, always available, and leveraged technology to take us on an incredible journey of transformation.”
